CHILLICOTHE - JoAnn M. Ladd, 77, of 1625 E. Santa Fe Road died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at her residence.
Born Dec. 7, 1922, in Chillicothe to George and Gertrude Stillman Shepard, she married Harold Ladd in 1940 in Davenport, Iowa. He died Dec. 12, 1999.
One great-grandchild, two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Jim of Quincy, Bill and Bob, both of Chillicothe, and Joe of Newberg, Ore.; two daughters, Janet Howald and Donna Ladd, both of Chillicothe; one brother, Dick Shepard of Chillicothe; 18 grandchildren; and 20 greatgrandchildren.
She had been manager of the cafeteria at Illinois Valley Central School District 321 for 28 years.
She was a member of the Thirty-Niners Club.
She also was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Keith Ferguson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Weber Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery in rural Chillicothe.
