     Pauline A. MUNSELL, 71, of 44 Willow St., died Saturday (Oct. 14,
1995) in Golden Years Fster Care Home, Hillsdale.
     Born in Hillsdale, June 28, 1924, to Edward and Lucille ILES TREMAINE,
she was a lifelong resident of Hillsdale County.
     Mrs. MUNSILL was a former employee of Slessman & Sons Kraut factory,
Jonesville, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Saga Foods at Hillsdale College.
     She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and the American
Association of Retired Persons.
     Her first husband, Wilbur "Ted" LADD, whom she married May 3, 1941,
preceded her in death in 1966.  On July 31, 1973, she married Rolland
MUNSELL and he preceded her in death in 1982.  Also preceding her in death
were a sister, four brothers, and two grandchildren.
     Survivors include one daughter, JoAnn THOMPSON, Hillsdale; three sons,
Charles LADD, Allen, Normand LADD, Hillsdale, and Jerry LADD, Jonesville;
two stepdaughters, Joan SMALL, Hillsdale, and Jean MATHERS, Central Lake;
one sister, Leona ROBBINS, Ferndale, Wash; 11 grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren;
and a close friend, Walter Westgate, Hillsdale.
     The funeral is at 3 pm Wednesday in the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home,
Hillsdale, with the Rev. Max masters and James Pfiester officiating.
Bruial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Litchfield.  Visitation is from
3:30-8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral Home.
     Memorials are suggested to Hospis.

NOTE:  Pauline passed away on Oct. 14, 1995.
