Deceased Name: LADD 
LADD, RUTH J. (USATORRES), 83, of Gulfport, died Tuesday (Feb. 27, 2001) at
Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Morristown, N.J., she moved to Florida in the 
1960s from New York City. She was Episcopalian. In her 60s and 70s, she ran in marathons
throughout the United States. Survivors include two sons, Arnold B., Gulfport,
Christopher A., Convent Station, N.J.; a daughter, Ellen Sydney Ladd, Morristown;
a brother, Arthur Humphreys, Novato, Calif.; a sister, Elinore Kay, Sanibel; and a grandson.
