LADD, Velma

     Delphos-Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday at St. Paul United Methodist
Church for Velma LADD, 71.  She died at 5:30 am Tuesday at the home of her
son, Rev. Kenneth LADD, in Wauseon.
     She was born June 13, 1910, in Delphos, the daughter of John and
Lillian RUPERT MAY.  She married Lawrence LADD, who died in 1966.
     Mrs. LADD was a retired employee of DWG Cigar Factory.  She was a
member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
     Survivors also include three other sons, Arthur LADD of Red Oak, NC,
Dale LADD of Wharton and Ted LADD; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (June) DUNLAP of
Delphos; 14 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 11 g grandchildren; and
two brothers, Norman MAY of Waynesfield and Clarence MAY of Lima.
     Rev. Peggy Garison and Rev. Walter Marks will officiate for the
services.  Burial will be in West Side Cemetery, Waynesfield.
     Friends may call at harter and Son Funeral Home after 7 tonight and
anytime Thursday.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United
Methodist Church.
