William Ladd

William "Blackie" Ladd, 67, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000,

in Memphis, Tenn.

Memorial services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, in C.O. Pate

Funeral Home in Senatobia, Miss.

Mr. Ladd was a resident of Pontotoc, Miss., before moving to Amarillo.

He had worked as a controller.

His wife, Nilda Herrera Ladd, preceded him in death.

Survivors include four sons, William L. Ladd Jr., Eugene C. Ladd,

Kenneth C. Ladd and Adrian E. Ladd; four daughters, Debbie Miller,

Mira Pipes, Lorna White and Maria Steen; a brother, Willard Ladd; a

sister, Mary Randolph; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
