(1) Nicholas
Snow, born 18 January 1600 in Hoxton, Middlesex Co., England,
died 15 November 1676 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts;
married before the division of cattle on 22 May 1627 at Plymouth, Plymouth Co.,
Massachusetts Constance
Hopkins, baptized 11 May 1606 at Hursley,
Hampshire, England, died October 1677 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
Nicholas arrived at Plymouth
in 1623 aboard the ship Anne. He and Constance moved their family to Eastham
around 1645.
A beaver hat (right)
once owned by Constance has survived and is on display today at
the Pilgrim Hall Museum
in Plymouth.
Nicholas is regarded as the
first Town Clerk of Eastham, and his service as such is honored today by a plaque
at the Eastham Town Hall.
Nicholas and Constance are likely
buried at Cove cemetery in Eastham in unmarked graves. Memorials have been set
up for each of them in the cemetery by their descendants.
Nicholas and Constance were

Parents of:
(1) John Snow, borrn 3 May 1678 at at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, died 14 October 1738 at Duck Creek, Kent Co., Delaware; married 25 February 1700/1701 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, Elizabeth Ridley, born 13 May 1678 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, died after 1723 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
