Trosper, under the firm name Thomson & Trosper, but this relation was dissolved in two years, and for the fifteen months following Mr. Thomson clerked. A new partnership was now formed with Mr. R. S. Cash and was continued with good results until 1881 when he sold out and went to Kansas City for a short time. Returning soon after he established his present (1886) business house. He deals in dry goods, notions, boots, shoes, clothing, groceries, hats, caps, queensware, etc. For some two years he has been president of the Breckenridge Savings Bank. According to the history published in 1886 (p. 671), he married Miss Ida L. Hart, daughter of G. B. Hart, in 1868. Parents: Col. David THOMSON and Lucinda CREASON.
