My grandmother was a wonderful lady. My every memory of her is filled with her doing for others. Of course the mother of 16 kids would have more than a little experience at doing for others.

I can remember her letting me stand behind her on a porch swing when I was little. She always wore her hair in a tight little bun on the back of her crown. She would let her hair down, and let me brush it. It was so long it would fall to her waist.
