!CENSUS: 1820, 1840, 1850, Cabell Co., VA, (Lists the nam e as Syrus, but th 1860 Wayne Co, Va lists the name as Cyru s)
The 1860 Census lists his occupation as farmer, and list the following living in his household: Son Roswell age 20; Lucinda Adams age 28 listed as a domestic; her four children ; Mary Adams age 18 listed as a domestic: her child.

"The farm was located West of of White's Creek with the Big Sandy River and Cragson's Creek on its boundar ies.
He left the farm to his son Hearndon Abraham's farm was inh erited by his son, Abraham, who in turn bequeathed it to his son, Herndon."
THE BIG SANDY VALLEY, Central Methodist, Catlettsburg, KY,1 887, p. 194:
"The Cyrus Family/ Abraham, Thomas, William and Smith Cyru s came to what is now Wayne Co., Wva. about 1806. They cam e from North Carolina."
Abraham married Sarah Blue, daughter of Samuel Blew and Martha Blue, on 19 May 1808 in Cabell Co, Virginia, USA. (Sarah Blue was born on 15 Jan 1789 in Boyd County, Kentuck, USA and died on 9 Jul 1871 in Wayne Co, West Virginia, USA.)
