Rebecca Jean Blouir Freeland, who is the widow of  Rachel Jane Devore Hall's grandson, included the following in a Descendent Record she provided via e-mail: "WILLIAM D  was born January 17, 1845 in Ohio, and died March 27, 1915 in Lowell, Oh.. He married (1) RACHEL DEVORE, daughter of JOHN DEVORE. She was born July 04, 1851 in Ross Co.Oh., and died March 31, 1939 in Lowell, Oh.. He married (2) JANE STEED. She was born in 1847 in Coal Run,Wash. Co. Oh."  This author had previously listed Rachel Jane as the daughter John Devore's parents, Solomon L. Devore & Margaret Goodwin.

Rachel's Death Certificate was issued in Washington County Ohio, Registration District 1339, File Number 66 21013, Primary Registration District Number 3425, Village of Lowell.  It shows that she died March 31, 1939. According to the Death Certificate, she was born July 4, 1851, and was 87 years, 8 months, 27 days old when she died.  It lists John Devore as her father, but unknown for mother.  It shows that she was buried in Greenlawn Cemetery on April 2, 1939. It shows that the information was provided by her daughter Iva Belle.
