My Henderson family reportedly came to America from
Scotland before the revolution arriving in Va. for a short time
and then moving to a farm outside of Morristown, N.J. James
Henderson moved his family from N.J. to Centre Co., Pa
around 1835. His son David Holloway Henderson moved back
and forth from Centre Co. to Clarion Co. Hezekiah Noble
Henderson son of David H. Henderson married first Clara
Shick of Armstrong Co. and then upon her death her sister
Emma Shick. Hezekiah N. Henderson was a butcher and ran a
hotel in Forest Co. Pa. The picture to the right shows Myrna
Mae and Wilbur Henderson children of Clara and Hezekiah
also shown is Emma Shick and one of the children from the
second marriage.
