Albert Krumwiede
Albert L. Krumwiede, 74, a former Buckley resident, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday,
July 25, 1986, at the Morris Hospital in Morris. He had been a resident of Royal
Willow Nursing Home at Wilmington the past 12 years.
He was born Dec. 12, 1911 in Buckley, the son of George H. and Caroline W. Weisenbarn
Krumwiede.
He is survived by one brother, George K. (should be George J.) of Wilmington;
one sister, Frieda Lambert, Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
He attended St. John's Lutheran School in Buckley and spent his childhood in
the Buckley area. He farmed for several years and was later employed by the Caterpillar
Co., Joliet, from which he retired in 1974. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran
Church in Buckley and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home in
Buckley with the Rev. Paul Scheunemann officiating. Burial was in St. John's
Cemetery, Buckley.
Memorials were made in his name to the donor's choice.
He was buried on 28 Jul 1986 in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Buckley, Illinois.19,53
