Ferdinand Krumwiede, Buckley, Dies
Ferdinand P. Krumwiede, 89, of Buckley, died Tuesday, March 1, at 10 p.m. at Riverside Hospital at Kankakee.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the St. John's Lutheran Church of which he was a life-long member with Rev. James E. Brammier officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday afternoon and evening at the Ford Baier Funeral home at Buckley.
He was born December 5, 1887 in Buckley, the son of August H. and Louisa Weisenbarn Krumwiede. He attended St. Johns Lutheran Schools in Buckley and had spent his entire life in the Buckley area. He was a retired farmer.
He was married to Lillie Kaufmann February 16, 19(13). They were married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Buckley.
Surviving also are four sons, Arno of Onarga, Willard of Clifton, Glenn and Delmar, both of Buckley; two daughters, Mrs. Marvel Anderson of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Violet Weller of Tustin, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Kaufmann of the Ford County Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons and one sister.

Clifton Resident's Mother Dies
Mrs. Lillie Krumwiede, 76, Buckley, died at 3:15 a.m. August 14, at Paxton Community Hospital where she had been a patient one month.
A daughter to Mr. and Mrs. August Kaufman, she was born April 22, 1893 in Buckley. She was married there Feb. 16, 1913 to Ferdinand Krumwiede who survives.
She is also survived by sons, Arno or Onarga, Glen and Delmar both of Buckley, and Willard of Clifton; daughters, Mrs. Marvel Anderson of Santa Susana, Calif. and Mrs. Violet Weller of Tustin, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Krumwiede was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where the Rev. Fred Stennfeld conducted funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was Friday afternoon and evening at Ford-Baier Funeral Home.

She was buried about 18 Aug 1969 in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Buckley, Illinois.19 Section B, Row 6B, Plot 19B. "Lillie A." Services for Krumwiede Youth held Sunday
Funeral services for Myron Krumwiede whose sad death occurred early Wednesday morning at the Roberts Hospital, were held on Sunday afternoon at the home of Miss Clara Kaufmann at 1:15 o'clock and at the St. John's Ev. Lutheran church at 1:30 o'clock.
Myron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Krumwiede, was born on March 21, 1915. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Buckley and a member of the Bible class and mixed choir. A week ago he developed what seemed to be a cold, but it later developed into a throat infection. Sunday he was taken to the Roberts Hospital where he submitted to several operations. After a hemorrhage he was given a blood transfusion by his father, but died about 6:30 o'clock Wednesday morning.
He leaves to mourn his sudden departure, his parents, four brothers, one sister and a host of intimate friends.

BUCKLEY -- Funeral services for Glenn W. Krumwiede, 74, of rural Buckley, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley. The Rev. Edgar L. Peters will officiate.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Buckley, with military rites by Byron Hickerson American Legion Post 432 of Buckley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Buckley.
Mr. Krumwiede died at 9 a.m. Monday (July 17, 1995) at home.
He was born Oct. 3, 1920, at Buckley, a son of F.B. and Lillie Kaufmann Krumwiede.
Survivors include two brothers, Arno Krumwiede of Crescent City and Willard Krumwiede of Clinton; and two sisters, Marvel Anderson of Van Nuys, Calif., and Violet Weller of Yorba Linda, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Mr. Krumwiede was a lifelong farmer in the Buckley area. He was a member of the Holstein Association of America.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley, and attended St. John's Lutheran School. Mr. Krumwiede served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945; he primarily was stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He was a member of Byron Hickerson American Legion Post 432, Buckley.
