Franklin Krumwiede dies at Plainfield
Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 14 in Plainfield, Ill. for Franklin Krumwiede, 60. He died suddenly at his home Friday, Jan. 11. Born at Buckley July, 1903, he was the son of William Krumwiede and Bertha Ferdina Krumwiede. He spent his childhood at Buckley and lived for some time at Kankakee before going to Plainfield. He was owner and operator of a private plane and was flight instructor before he retired only a few years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, a son Jack of Champaign, a brother, Arthur, Seattle, Wash., and other relatives. Burial was at Plainfield.

He was buried on 14 Jan 1963 in Plainfield, Illinois.⁵³
