Lutheran Teachers to be Inducted
Induction services for Miss Loretta Krumwiede, new teacher in Mt. Calvary Lutheran School, will be held Sunday, September 8th, in the 8:30 a.m. service. The Rev. H. H. Baacks, pastor, will officiate.
Miss Krumwiede attended Trinity Lutheran School in Ft. Wayne from which she was graduated in 1956. In june of 1960 she was graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in Ft. Wayne. Schooling in preparation for her teaching position included St. Paul Lutheran College at Concordia Missouri and Concordia Lutheran Teachers' College at River Forest, Illinois. At Mt. Calvary Lutheran School she will teach the 3rd and 4th grades. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Krumwiede of 805 Growth Aveneu, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

JACOB-KRUMWIEDE -- Miss Loretta Lourine Krumwiede, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Krumwiede, 805 Growth Ave., became the bride of Edwin Henry Jacob, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Edwin A. Jacob, Decatur, recently at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The bride chose a floor length lace gown with irridescent white sequins and carried red sweetheart roses with a white orchid center. The bride's sister, Miss Barbara Krumwiede was the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Miss Joyce Kopsell, Miss Sharon Fortman, Miss Lois Purnell and Miss Sandra Wilson. Flower girl was Miss Julie Theesfeld and the ring-bearer was Keith Krumwiede, brother of the bride. Serving as best man was Kenneth Ohrkfitz and the ushers were Karl Neuman, Richard Swinehart and James Krumwiede. A reception followed the ceremony in the Emmanuel Hall, and the couple honeymooned at Hill Lake. They will be at home at 1801 VanBuren Rd., Cleveland, O.

She was divorced from Edwin Henry JACOB in Aug 1974 in Indiana. Edwin Henry JACOB was born on 5 Feb 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. He died on 3 Nov 1985 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. ⁽¹⁶¹⁾ He was buried on 5 Nov 1985 in Woodburn, Indiana.⁽¹⁶²⁾ (on the Knobloch family plot. Second wife was Norma Knobloch Hetrick.) Barlow-Jacob ceremony performed on Saturday
Loretta Krumwiede Jacob and William N. Barlow, Jr. were married in an afternoon ceremony. The bride is an employe (sic) of The Allen County Times. Mr. Barlow is employed by Dana Spicer-Axle Division, Fort Wayne.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. George A.H. Krumwiede, Fort Wayne, Mrs. Stella Barlow, Reading, Penn., and William N. Barlow, Sr., Ocala, Florida.
The bride fashioned her own gown of apricot caressable and flocked organza. The gown featured a high empire waist, scoop neck-line and long sleeves cuffed with the flocked organza and trimmed with pearl buttons. The A-line skirt ended in a brush train. She carried a colonial bouquet of irovy roses, tangerine carnations and baby's breath. Sprigs of baby's breath formed her headdress.
Barbara Nord attended her sister and Walter Maley attended the groom. Guests were seated by James Krumiwede and William R. Barlow.
Mr. and Mrs. William N. Barlow, Jr. greeted their guests in the church hall following the ceremony. Following a weekend trip to Illinois, the couple are residing in Fort Wayne.
