16 Aug 1920 in Chatsworth, Livingston County, Illinois. She died on 11 Dec 1999 in
Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. (71) Parkview Memorial

given below. It appeared with few changes in the Daily and Sunday Journal, Kankakee.
For some reason, it never appeard in The Record. It appeared in both The News-Sentinel
and the Journal Gazette of Fort Wayne, in a much shortened form. Etta M.
Krumwiede died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999 at 4:09 p.m. at Parkview Memorial Hospital,
Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born Aug. 16, 1920, at Chatsworth, Ill., the daughter of
Louis J. and V. Lorraine Vaughn Theesfeld. Before moving to Fort Wayne, Ind. in 1956,
she spent most of her life in Onarga and Buckley, Ill, where she and her husband
farmed east of Buckley. She graduated from Onarga High School in 1938 and from
Gallagher Business School, Kankakee, Ill., in 1939. She was employed by Farnsworth,
ITT, the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana University at Fort Wayne, and Magnavox/North
American Phillips at Knoxville, Tenn., from which she retired. She was a Republican
candidate for Fort Wayne City Council at Large in the 1970s. She married George
A. H. Krumwiede on Jan. 1, 1940, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley. He survives.
Also surviving are: four sons, Allen L. (Gloria) of Indianapolis, James H. (Linda)
of Fort Wayne, Gregory G. (Ann) of Chicago; and Keith C. (Laurie) of Rosedale, Ind.;
two daughters, Loretta (Bill) Barlow and Barbara (Rev. Don) Nord, both of Fort Wayne;
five sisters, Louise (Wilbur) Luhrsen of Buckley, Dorothy (Delmar) Janssen of Winter
Haven, Fla., Lucille (George) Peters of Elburn, Ill., Emma (Bud) Rush of Winter Haven,
and Elsie (John) Zytkewick of Ormand Beach, Fla. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by her parents, her brother Lloyd Theesfeld, and one grandson, Andrew.
She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, St. Mary's Ave. Services will
be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the church. Klaehn Fahl Melton Funeral
Home, .West Wayne Street Chapel, Fort Wayne, is in charge of arrangements, where
calling will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and two hours before
services at the church. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials
may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to The Lutheran Hour. She loved
and trusted the Lord, and prized her family above all earthly treasure.

1967 in Emmanuel Lutheran Church. (72) Jim was baptized
and confirmed on the same day. James F. Buckhart lived with the Krumwiede family
during the mid- to late-1950s. Though he was never adopted, he is often treated as
a son, and certainly is treated as a brother by Jim Krumwiede. +161
