(19) Mrs. A. F. Krumwiede, after a lingering
illness, passed away at the hospital in Watseka last Saturday evening at nine o'clock.
The Thursday before, the lady had undergone an operation for cancer of the stomach.
She passed through this ordeal nicely. The physician entertained some hopes that
she might be able to live for some years. However, she soon showed signs of extreme
weakness. Blood transfusions were resorted to several times. It became evident on
Saturday afternoon that her life was ebbing. The remains were brought here Sunday
afternoon. Wednesday afternoon the funeral exercises were held by Rev. Braeunig.
A large congregation of aggrieved relatives and friends assembled to pay their last
respects. Mr. A. F. Krumwiede, a daughter, Mrs. Wm. Balk, and two sons, Messers.
Alwin and Walter Krumwiede, besides many other relatives and friends mourn the loss
of a devoted, loving wife and mother. May she rest in eternal peace! She
was buried on 17 Mar 1937 in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Buckley, Illinois.

Frederick KRUMWIEDE and Louise Dorotha WOLF had the following children:
39 i. August Henry KRUMWIEDE
was born on 29 Jul 1892 in Buckley, Iroquois County, Illinois.(20)
August's birth is registered incorrectly in the Iroquois County birth records, due
to one of the most serious mangles of the name Krumwiede I have ever seen. If not
for the presence of the mother's name in the records, I might well have missed it.
The listing reads: CRUMNEDER, August | 07/29/1892 | Buckley | August | WOLF, Louise.
He died on 6 Sep 1892. He was buried in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Buckley, Illinois.
