Subj: The twins have arrived! (second attempt at message - fell asleep at keyboard)

The twins, Hannah and Emma, arrived at 7:13pm and 7:14pm respectively last night. Hannah Lee Krumwiede weighed in at 5 lbs. 10 oz. and Emma Nichole Krumwiede weighed in at 5 lbs. 14 oz. Laurie did great throughout the ceaserian. (If you've never seen one of those, it's quite a trip.) Emma had some difficulty breathing; not uncommon to births three weeks early. Laurie called me early this morning to let me know that Emma was doing much better and they expect to move both of the girls out of the intensive care nursery this morning. We don't expect to be going home for 4 or five days. Laurie is in room 2515 at the Family Life Center of XXXXX Hospital. I don't have the exact address for cards, but I will try to post that this afternoon. It would probably be a better idea to send cards to our home address. I can be contacted via phone.

Krumwiede twins receive baptism

George A. H. and Etta Krumwiede, Loretta Krumwiede Barlow and Barbara Krumwiede Nord, all of Fort Wayne, Ind., were in XXXXXon Sunday, March 15 (1998), for an 11:30 a.m. baptismal service at St. John's Lutheran Church.
The Krumwiedes' youngest son Keith and wife Laurie (Lee) brought their twin daughters, Hannah Lee and Emma Nicole, born XXXXX, 1997 in XXXXX, to St. John's for their baptism at the Krumwiede family's church "home." They live in Rosedale, Ind.
George and Etta are the twins' paternal grandparents. Also attending were the maternal grandmother, Margaret Lee of Rosedale, aunt and uncle Dale Ann and John O'Neal and son John R., of Terre Haute, Ind., half-sisters, Sara and Gretchen Krumwiede of Indianapolis, great uncle "Fritz" Krumwiede and cousins Ray and Velma Sprehe of Buckley.
