Open house to celebrate Johnson 80th

An open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 (1997) at First Lutheran Church, Paxton, for Verna Johnson of Buckley in honor of her 80th birthday.
The event will be hosted by her children and their families -- Pat Carlson of Paxton, Allen Johnson of Loda, Dick Johnson of Fisher and Gene Johnson of Champaign.
Mrs. Johnson has seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was married to Lee JOHNSON (son of Claude F JOHNSON and Mathilda Dorothea KRUMWIEDE) 1939. Verna and Lee are third cousins. Lee JOHNSON was born on 16 Nov 1914 in Artesia Township, Iroquois County, Illinois.⁽¹¹⁸⁾ He died on 21 Nov 1984. He was buried about 24 Nov 1984 in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Buckley, Illinois.⁽²⁾ Section C, Row 26, Plot 76C Verna HILGENDORF and Lee JOHNSON had the following children:
