Resident of Cissna Park dies Tuesday

Mrs. Carolina Seggebruch, 63, Cissna Park, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at Riverside Hospital, Kankakee.
She was born July 7, 1909 at Buckley, daughter of Henry and Minnie Sprehe Krumwiede. She married Albert Seggebruch September 13, 1933, at Buckley.
Survivors are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Joann Yergler of Cissna Park and Mrs. Rhoda Vieley of Peoria; a son, Dale of Onarga; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Hilda Eckoff of Milford, Mrs. Rose Weber of Onarga, Mrs. Laura Walwer of Peoria and Mrs. Alma Heimlich of Prairie du Sac, Wis.; five brothers, Henry Krumwiede of Buckley, Herman of Cissna Park, Fred of Paxton, George of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Carl of Onarga. She was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.
Mrs. Seggebruch was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Ash Grove, the St. John Ladies Aid and Iroquois Hospital Auxiliary.
Funeral services at 3 p.m. Friday at the St. John Lutheran Church, Ash Grove, the Rev. Ronald Erber officiating and burial in the church cemetery. Visitation after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Knapp Funeral Home, Cissna Park.

She was married to Albert William SEGGEBRUCH (son of Fred SEGGEBRUCH and Karolina WEGENER) on 17 Sep 1934. Albert Seggebruch

Albert Seggebruch, 79, Iroquois County board member from Cissna Park, died at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 1984, at Paxton Hospital.
Mr. Seggebruch had been a county board member for 17 years and was a former member of the board of review for 11 years. He was born April 5, 1905, in Artesia Township to Fred and Lina Seggebruch. He married Carolina Krumwiede on Sept. 17, 1933, at Buckley. She died June 19, 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Joann Yergler, Cissna Park and Rhoda Vieley, Peoria; a son, Dale of Onarga; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alma Luebchow, Onarga. Mr. Seggebruch was a retired farmer.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Ash Grove, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Rodney Blomquist will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at Knapp Funeral Home, Cissna Park, and fro 10 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
