MILFORD - Visitation for Clarence L. Ronna, 80, of rural Milford, will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Knapp Funeral Home, Cissna Park, and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the 11 a.m. services at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ash Grove, where he was a member.
Burial, with military graveside rites by the Cissna Park American Legion Post 527, will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Ash Grove. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Ash Grove, or to Christ Lutheran School, Buckley.
Mr. Ronna died Monday (Aug. 28, 2000) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. He was born Sept. 27, 1919, in rural Buckley, the son of Fred and Meta Hilgendorf Ronna.
Surviving are his wife, the former Viola Kesler, whom he married XXXXX 1945, in Ash Grove; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Vicki Ronna of Pekin, Dale and Mary Ronna of Milford; three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Carol Koester of Cissna Park, Carol and Todd Guy of Rankin, Karen and Dave Miller of Perrysville, Ind.; three brothers, Delmar Ronna, Lawrence Ronna, Orville "Bud" Ronna, all of Paxton; two sisters, Irma Ennen of Loda, Lois Grohler of Kankakee; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Four brothers, Lester Hilgendorf, Robert and Arnold Ronna and an infant, are deceased.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.
Mr. Ronna was retired from Standard Register (Uarco) in Watseka.He was an elder and member of the Men's Club of the church and a member of the Cissna Park American Legion. He served on the church cemetery board.
He enjoyed Cubs baseball, farming, hunting, fishing and played dartball with the church team.

He was married to Viola KESLER 1945. Viola KESLER was born 1923. Clarence RONNA and Viola KESLER had the following children:
