Service Sun. September 3, 7 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton. Interment Church

Adeline Hilgendorf GRAFTON, Wis. - Adeline J. Hilgendorf, 70, of Grafton,
Wis., formerly of Milford, died Thursday (Aug. 31, 2000) at her home Visitation
will be from 4 p.m. today until the 7 p.m. services at St. Paul Lutheran Church,
701 Washington Ave., Grafton, Wis. 53024. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Hilgendorf Ministerial Scholarship Fund, c/o The
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Endowment Fund, 1333 S. Kirkwood Rd., St. Louis, Mo.

She was born June 29, 1930, in Milford, the daughter of William and Erna Bohlmann.<BR>
Surviving are her husband, M.D. Hilgendorf, whom she married XXXXX 1954; four
sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Ann of Tuscola, Thomas and Mary of Houghton,
Mich., Nathan and Julie of Washington Township, Mich., Daniel and Renee of Dexter,
Mich.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Ruth and Tom Bretz of Villa Grove, Ill.,
Mary and Jack Appleby of Atwood, Ill., Lois and Tony Love of Ann Arbor, Mich., Rebecca
of Whitefish Bay, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Vinita and
Marvin Brutlag of Herscher; and one brother, Bernell Bohlmann of Herscher. Shortly
after their marriage, her husband was called as a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri
Synod. As they served in church work, they lived in Park City, Mont., Buhl, Idaho,
Engadine, Mich., Tuscola, Ill., Ann Arbor, Mich. and Grafton, Wis Mrs. Hilgendorf
retired from the University of Michigan Hospital where she worked as an admistrative
assistant in oral surgery. She loved to sew, garden and fish. She was buried
on 3 Sep 2000 in Grafton, Wisconsin.(5) St. Paul Lutheran
