Open house to celebrate Johnson 80th

An open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 (1997) at First Lutheran Church, Paxton, for Verna Johnson of Buckley in honor of her 80th birthday.
The event will be hosted by her children and their families -- Pat Carlson of Paxton, Allen Johnson of Loda, Dick Johnson of Fisher and Gene Johnson of Champaign.
Mrs. Johnson has seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
