I got it last night while I was ironing a blue handkerchief -- found it in a 1948 Christmas card from Eleanor to my Grandmother Elise Kibler. I wrote to her 49 years later to thank her.
I am making some progress on these German and Swiss families. Have had e-mail from a Freudenberger (my ggmother) descendant, and we have separate lines in two villages very close to each other in Wurttemburg. Hope a LDS microfilm comes soon to help solve the puzzle.

Eleanor Kuebler CISSNA PARK -- Visitation for Eleanor E. Kuebler, 90, of Cissna Park, will be from 9 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. services at the Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park. Rev. Terry Strom will officiate.
Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Cissna Park.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Mrs. Kuebler died Monday (June 2, 2003) at the Gilman Nursing Pavilion. She was born March 1, 1913, in Buckley, the daughter of Harry and Mata Luhrsen Akeright.
Her husband, Emil C. Kuebler, whom she married Feb. 28, 1937, in Buckley, died Jan. 28, 1988.
Surviving are one grandson, Randall Kuebler of Albuquerque, N.M.; two great-grandchildren, Eric and Lisa Kuebler; and one nephew, Gordon Strauss of Buckley. One brother, Charles Akeright; one sister, Thelma Strauss; one son, Ronald Kuebler; and one grandson, Bruce Kuebler, are deceased. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park. (The spelling given here is the one on her birth certificate. She has used the spelling Eleanor most of her life.)

CISSNA PARK -- Emil C. Kuebler, 86, Cissna Park, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 1988, at Mercy Hospital in Urbana.
He was born Feb 9, 1901, in Cissna Park, the son of Charles and Emma Baumgartner Kuebler. He married Eleanor Akeright at Buckley.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Ronald of Oak Wood; two grandsons, Randall Kuebler of Albuquerque, N.M. and Bruce Kuebler of Phoenix., arix.; two great-grandsons, Eric and Lisa Kuebler of Albuquerque; two sisters, Marie Kuebler of Watseka and Helen Kuebler of Francesville, Ind., and one brother, Lawrence Kuebler of Cissna Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park with the Rev. Kevin Martin officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Cissna Park.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
