First item inventoried and appraised was the family farm,
with improvements, located on Bayou Tortue, measuring 5 x 40 arpents,
bounded on one side by Joseph Giroir and on the other by Valery Broussard.
Farm purchased from Pierre Broussard.
The family reserved for themselves wood rights and the crops on the farm.
They also noted that parts of the stone mill belonged to Basil Landry, i.e., the stones and the movements.
The family agreed to sell the remainder of the mill to Landry for $23.
Farm appraised at $700.
Community property appraised at $1,640.
