(Cindy Colley) Columbia, MO Tribune Online Obituary: Eugenia Wyatt Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tom Adams and Bob Green officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wyatt was born Oct. 7, 1905, in Audrain County to Shannon Buford and Arvilla Dalbey Roberts. She married Ernest Wyatt on Oct. 7, 1929, in Columbia, and he preceded her in death. She received a teaching certificate from Kirksville Teacher’s
College and a master’s degree in education from the University of
Missouri-Columbia. She was employed as a teacher and principal for the

Mo., 65203. Eugenia R. Wyatt Mrs. Wyatt was a teacher and principal at Hallsville schools
from 1939 to 1957. She also taught literature at Hickman High School from 1959
to 1973. Mrs. Wyatt was born Oct. 7, 1905, in Audrain County to Shannon
Buford and Arvilla Dalbey Roberts. She married Ernest Wyatt in 1929. Mrs. Wyatt
graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, receiving a master's She was a member of Hallsville Methodist Church. Other organizations she was involved in include King's Daughters, Bess Miller Circle and the National and State Retired Teachers associations. She also enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband. Visitation for Mrs. Wyatt will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Bus Loop 70 W. Services, conducted by the Rev. Tom Adams and the Rev. Bob Green, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her sister, Cleo Roberts of Centralia. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, south of Centralia. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at the funeral home. Mr. Roberts was born Dec. 10, 1918, to David Elmer and Ora Meredith Roberts in Boone County. A retired farmer, he was a lifelong resident of the Boone County area. He was a member and Sunday School teacher at the former Far West Christian Church. Survivors include two first cousins, Cleo Roberts of Centralia and Eugenia Wyatt of Columbia, and several second cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Taylor Roberts,
