In cooperation with the 175th anniversary of Missouri Statehood and in a way to honor our Pioneer forefathers, the Genealogical Society of Central Missouri (GSCM) started offering a certificate for direct descendants of any person residing in central Missouri before 1880. Those pioneers who arrived prior to 1850 will show a gold seal with blue ribbons affixed to the certificate. We hope this will be a cherished keepsake.

Even after several Months, the Pioneers of Central Missouri Certificate Program is still going strong! There are already many proud descendants who are busy framing and hanging the certificate that honors their ancestor who helped to settle CENTRAL MISSOURI before 1880.

Below is a list of the ancestors whose descendant's have qualified for a certificate and the pioneers settlement date.
