The Davis/Davies Family Archives

John Davies, a Welsh miner from Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales,  and his wife, Anna Evans, were the parents of a five children;  among which, their son William Davies emigrated to Schulykill County, Pennsylvania in 1857.  The family migrated first to Trumbull County, Ohio, and later
expanded to have members living in nearly every state of the Union.
