Barbara Ramsey, daughter of John, granddaughter of Hugh, was born 15 October 1810 in Indiana County, and she died  05 January 1870 in Armstrong Twp., Indiana County, PA.  She married Hugh Craig in 1836, in Indiana County, the son of William Craig and Mary Gamble.  Hugh was born 12 August 1799 in County Fermanagh, N Ireland and died 26 May 1876 in Armstrong Township.  Barbara and Hugh Craig had seven children, all born in Armstrong Township, PA.    Please see the Craig outline for further information on this family!

Samuel Wiggins, son of Mary Ann, grandson of Hugh, was born 21 June 1811 in White Township and died
3 December 1895 in Shelocta, PA.  He married Lena Ann Armstrong 30 November 1841, the daughter of
Alexander Armstrong and Lena Hindman.  She was born 17 September 1807 in Franklin County, PA and
died 27 June 1875 in Armstrong Township.  Samuel and Lena Wiggins had three children

(1)  James W Wiggins, born 12 November 1842… he married Catherine McCollum
(2)  Alexander A Wiggins, born 11 June 1844 and died 3 July 1913
(3)  Mary Jane Wiggins, born 17 November 1847… she married John Anderson


Andrew Wiggins, son of Mary Ann, grandson of Hugh, was born January 1819.  He married Sarah Lowry
and they had three known children

(1)  Mary Jane Wiggins, who married Elijah Mangus 25 September 1879

(3)  John Err Wiggins


Jane Wiggins, daughter of Mary Ann, grandson of Hugh, was born 22 December 1821. She married
Michael Peterman, the son of Michael Peterman and Sarah Fisher.  Jane and Michael Peterman had  one
known child, Sarah Melissa Peterman, who was born 12 September 1862.

William Wiggins, son of Mary Ann, grandson of Hugh, was born 23 August 1827.  He married Sarah
Borland and they had one known child, Anna Rebecca Wiggins, who was born 31 March 1862.

William Devlin, son of Nancy, grandson of Hugh, was born 8 January 1822 in Armstrong Township, IC,
PA.  He married Hannah J Wacob in 1868, the daughter of John Wacob and Susan Elwood.  William and
Hannah had four children, all born in Armstrong Twp. PA

Thomas B Sharp, son of Sarah, grandson of Hugh, was born 1819 in Armstrong Twp.  He married Sarah
Ann McNutt, the daughter of Alexander McNutt and Elizabeth McKnight.  Thomas and Sarah had seven
children, all born in Indiana County

(3)  Martha E Sharp, born 1847;  she married John Patterson

(5)  Margaret Jane Sharp, born 1849 and died 30 November 1917.

Sarah Jane Sharp, daughter of Sarah, granddaughter of Hugh, was born about 1836.  She married Joseph T Hosack, son of John Hosack, and they had twelve children:  Margaret, Emma, John, Laura, William, Ida, Clara, Albert, Edwin, Dora, Thomas, and Samuel.

Alexander A Wiggins, son of Samuel, grandson of Mary Ann, was born 11 June 1844 in Shelocta, Indiana
County, PA and he died 3 July 1913 in Shelocta.  He married Nancy , the daughter of John Fleming and
Nancy Martin.  Nancy was born 16 October 1849 and she died 8 march 1932.  Alexander and Nancy
Wiggins had nine children, all born in Shelocta.

Sarah Ann Sharp, daughter of Thomas B, granddaughter of Sarah Ramsey, was born 28 August 1845 in Indiana County, and she died 26 August 1929.  She married Samuel Pettigrew 6 July 1864, the son of John Pettigrew and Martha Cochran.  He was born 27 January 1840 and died 3 February 1913.  Sarah and Samuel Pettigrew had four children, all born in Shelocta, PA.

(1)  Sarah Bell Pettigrew, born 16 May 1878.  She married Clark M Henry.
(2)  Mattie Carlotta Pettigrew... she married John Sell
(3)  Thomas Sharp Pettigrew, born 11 March 1873
(4)  John Willis Pettigrew

Nancy Ellen Sharp, daughter of Thomas B, granddaughter of Sarah was born 1849 and died 30 November 1917.  She married John Ramsey Craig, son of Hugh Craig and Barbara Ramsey.  Their children are listed under the Craig descendency.
