"Edmond Nicholas Airhart, 89, of 620 Sixth St., died at 8:20 a.m. today in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Creel Cemetery (Barnes Creek) in Bel, La., with Hixson Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Seth Baggett will officiate. Mr. Airhart, a native of Nacogdoches, Tex., had lived in Lake Charles for 56 years. He was a retired building contractor. Survivors are his wife, Ida Airhart; one son, Allen Airhart of Lake Charles and six grandchildren." (Note: Nacogdoches, Tex should have read Natchitoches, LA)
