Gloria Hursey of Waterloo, Illinois is a descendant of Solomon (Saul) Mayberry who was born about 1800 in that part of Knox County, Tennessee which was cut off to form Anderson County in 1801. Solomon was a grandson of Frederick Mayberry who came from Germany to New Jersey about 1750.

Gloria has become very adept at searching the Internet for bits of Mabry/Mayberry information from a wide variety of sources. We are grateful to her for sharing these gems with us so that we can make them available here on the Mabry Family Page.
