Maddux Pottery
Just bought some Maddux Pottery from a antique store (Maddux Pottery Co., in California). Does any one know who owned the Co. or if they are related?

The Maddux Pottery Company was founded in Los Angeles in 1938. They produced, importer and distributed ceramics to chainstores nationwide. They included well-designed figural planters, tv lamps, novelty and giftware items which in the mid-1960's their merchandise was listed in every major stamp catalog.
They were forced to sell out in 1976 because of a slow national economy and increasing foreign imports. They stop making ceramics and became a distribution company.
