HOW TO FIND WHAT WE HAVE?

Use card catalog: Almost everything of interest to genealogists is listed under the subject heading GENEALOGY and then subdivided by state, county, family, or type of information.
Take down number in left-handed corner of card, the GEN-OHIO Collection is in the far corner of the reading room; the OHIO collection, usually not as important genealogically, is in the office behind the Information Desk; REF refers to the reference books on the shelves on either side of the Information Desks.
Browse: Most genealogy and local history material is located in the GEN-OHIO Collection, in the microfilm cabinets, the vertical file cabinet, and the 929's in the circulating collection.
Ask librarian at the Information Desk for help with the collection.
