Raymond K. Peters, 74, of Illiopolis, died at 2:03 pm Saturday at Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept 20, 1919 in rural Illiopolis, the son of Oscar and Ethel KAYLOR Peteres. He married Anna Ruth Beck in 1941. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Surviving are his wife Anna; two daughters, Mrs. Drew (Lainie) Clark of Boulder, CO; and Mrs. Tony (Ann) Worthington of Baldwin, Md; son, Larry Peters of Illiopolis, five grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Illiopolis Christian Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home in Illiopolis is in charge of arrangements.
