Vivian Stowe, Romer local Resident Dies

Vivian Stowe, formerly of Jacksonville, died Thursday afternoon in Miami, Fl. She was born in Eldorada, KS 14 Oct 1880, a daughter of William and Sedarah Bobbitt DeSollar. She married Dr. Fred Stowe, May 5, 1908. He preceded her in death in 1933. Survivors include three brothers, Frrank DeSollar of Jacksonville, George W. DeSollar of Decatur and Elsa DeSollar of Beardstown. Two brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stowe was a member of the Miami Shores Presbyterian Church and a former member of Grace Methodist Church in Jacksonville. Graveside services will be 10:30 am Monday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Colton officiating. Friends may call anytime after 4pm Sunday at the Williamson Funeral Home.
