Casper was a Silvius but left no wife or children.  We cannot connect him to our family. There are Silvius families all over the world.  We only list the ones we can connect.  The ones we think might connect are on our unplaced lists.

Mary Cole's Discussion of Casper Silvius being a relation of #1 Henry

#1 Henry Silvius arrived on the Queen Elizabeth in 1738

Casper arrived on the Hamilton in 1767

I believe they (other researchers) didn't know about Casper's arrival in 1767 and just guessed or assumed he was connected to #1 Henry.

I can't believe that Henry would have left a son in Germany for 30 years.

If he were Henry's son, why didn't he go to Northampton County to settle?  I believe this Casper is a lost cause.

As for #1 Henry's children--years ago Nicholas was believed to have been born in 1723.  This was until his christening records of 1743 were found.   #1 Henry did not leave a will.  The administrators of his estate, 19 Oct 1776, were his widow Anna Martha and son #11 Henry Silvius.  The other children were not named.  Jacob Silvius received L.16 from the estate.

You will find many mistakes are made.  I have had two different people married to the same wife and having the same children.
