| So far, I have not found the mortgage document or deed of Nicholas selling this land to Balthazer Stehly/Stehley. As of the time of Nicholas preparing his Will in 1802, Balthazer Stehly/Stehley still owed Nicholas money and the Estate as late as 1804 and 1811 (see Releases of sisters Barbara (Silvius) Rehrig of 1804 and Margaret (Silvius) Grim of 1811 to #62 Nicholas). The Mortgage deed, if found, would show if the mortgage was satisfied and when. This land was along the western border of Nicholas' "Pleasant Grove" tract where it says "late Jacob Hoch." This land was originally the land of Nicholas Leberman/Leverman, second husband of the widow of Nicholas Heil, Maria Margareta (Theisen) Heil.
