| The 1810 Patent of #11 Henry includes his own 1786 Warrant plus the Warrant of #2 William, which William deeded to Henry in 1792. #1 Henry worked on improving this tract with an eye to warranting the land. #1 Henry died before warranting the land so his son #11 Henry did. At the time of the 1749 Warrant, the land was considered Bucks County. At the time of the 1786 Warrant and 1810 Patent, Ross Township was in Northampton County. Thanks to a Monroe County deed of 1856 for a portion of this same property (See Monroe Co. Deed Index, Book 55, Page 157, 27 August 1856), it is now determined that this land is situate in Eldred Township. Beginning in 1766, naming tracts was required when the land was patented. #11 Henry chose Silverspring for the name of his tract. The two Receiver Generals and Thomas Penn at the time thought it would help the record keeping in the collection of annual quitrents to follow a tract by its name rather than the owners or new owners of a tract.
