Silvius-Bergman-Yotter Land.jpg (91802 bytes)

These tracts are not perfectly placed on the map background.  I believe these tracts are in the right vicinity though.  A couple of the survey maps for these tracts indicated they were located on a branch of the Hockendauqua Creek.  All these tracts were in Moore Township.

Green tract #302 is the Frederick Bergman tract.

#303 is "Late Abraham Sevitz (Levitz?) now Widow Townsen" [Townson]; [late means previously owned]

#292 is Late Andrew Deimer; [late means previously owned]

#300 is Jost Yotter/Jotter;

#301 is Andrew Shall (brown tract).

#151, the long skinny one is Baltzer Staehle. Baltzer has 145 and 148 too of the same color.

You can see Nicholas Silvius' light green tracts, #48, #49, #65, and #150.  Nicholas sold part of #65 to Andrew Shall which transaction is mentioned in Nicholas' Will.  #49 was sold to Baltzar Stehley which transaction is also mentioned in Nicholas' Will.  I'm not sure what happened to #150.

Tracts #232 and #233 are John and Maria Barbara (Silvius) Heil tracts.

#200 is Jonathan and Anna Maria (Silvius) Heil, brother of John Heil.  Anna Maria and Barbara were sisters.

#259, to the right, is Nicholas Heil--he contracted to buy this land before he died.

Nicholas Leberman sold #49 to Nicholas Silvius (Leberman married the widow of Nicholas Heil).

The beige tracts of #195, #193, and #152 are more Andrew Deimer lands.

And, the lavender #157, #290, and #291 tracts are Martin Rohrig's lands (I've been told he is the father of Philip Rohrig).

And little blue #194 is Jacob Hoch land.  The land that Nicholas Leberman sold to Nicholas Silvius was first surveyed for Jacob Hoch.
