Silvis Cousins Reunion

A group of Silvis settled and were raised in the Pettigrew, Arkansas, area and many
still live around there. These Silvis call this get-together a "Cousins"
Reunion. My husband's grandmother was Pheobe Dawn (Pheba Don) Silvis and she was
raised and lived there most of her life.
This is the descendant line of my husband, Donny. Foy K. Johnson and Marilyn
Johnson would be the 1st cousins of Donny's dad, Roy Yvonne Smith. My husbands grandmother
is Pheobe Dawn [Pheba Don] (Silvis) Smith AR.

Here is a picture of my husbands grandmother, Pheobe Dawn, and some of
her siblings in or before August 1968. Neither Vernie, Charlie nor Everett are in
this picture.

This is a copy of a photo in a book that featured a story about Pheobe
and husband Charlie...they are sitting on their front porch. The book is called
"Ozark Elders" and tells the story of several older folk in the rural Arkansas
Ozarks. Their story tells about how they met, etc.
