The home of Gilbert Middagh, grandfather of Pearl (Middagh) Varner, wife of Eugene Varner, son of Arthur, son of David Holmes.   The farm was north of Buffalo, about 5 mile south of Monticello.

The house is surrounded by farm properties owned by several Varner families.  The Varner School sign is on the side of a barn on one of those Varner's properties.

2008 Zachary Varner Descendants Reunion

At the 88th birthday of Clyde Varner, his children presented him with the sign from the Varner School.  They have had it restored.
