Funeral services were held last Thursday for the late John Andrew MacFarlane, 77, of Williams Point, at St. Ninian's. He died at home on Nov. 23, 1981. Born at William's Point, he was the son of the late Ronald and Annie Jane (Cameron) MacFarlane. A retired section man and worked for 46 years with CN Railways. Surviving are 3 brothers - Colin - Antigonish, Dougald and Frank both of Williams Point. Seven sisters - Catherine (Mrs. W.C. MacDonald) James River, Mary (Mrs. Gibbons) Thompson, Plymouth, Pictou County; Lillia and Eunice both of New York; Tootsie (Mrs. Bill Gilfoy) and Nellie (Mrs. Harold Gilfoy), both of William's Point, and Molly (Mrs. Ralph MacCallum) Ottawa. Predeceased by 2 sisters Christina and Janet and 3 brothers Cameron, Ronald and Joseph.
