12. RICHARD WILLARD WOMACK was born on 24 July 1833 in Simpson County, Ms.. He died on 11 May 1907 in Sledge, La..⁽¹⁶⁾ He was buried in The Ridge Cem. at Castor, La. Richard Willard served in the Confederate Army. He enlisted at Monroe, La. He served untill the surrender at Alexandria, La. April 1865 as a private. Richard Womack sold land to Thomas Carlile on 26 Dec. 1857. The land belonged to Elizabeth Carlile Womacks.

13. ELIZABETH CARLISLE was born on 14 March 1837, probably in Lawrence Co. Ms.. She died on 4 Apr 1929 in LA.. ⁽¹⁷⁾ She was buried on 6 Apr 1929 in The Ridge Cem, Castor, La.. Elizabeth attended school in 1849? in Bienville, Pa. La. In 1907 Elizabeth stated she had lived in Louisiana for 50 yrs. She was 70 yrs. old at that time. Application for Widow's Pension from Conf. Army. Mary Lou Womack remembered her as being sweet and everyone called her Grandma Dick. She had Brown hair, and lived with son Riley when she was elderly. Riley had red hair and every one called him "Red". Mary Lou was Uncle Riley's favorite niece, because she had red hair too.
