I. William Womack, according to the Edward Pleasant Valentine papers, lived in Bristol Par. Henrico Co., Va. before 1679. Name of wife unknown. Records of Henrico Co. show that he had the following children:

4. Richard Womack III (1710-1790) son of Richard II and Elizabeth Puckett Womack, m. Ann "Nancy" Childers, dau. of Henry and Lucretia (Jones) Childers. They lived 1st. in Henrico Co., Va.: then Amelia Co., Va.: then Les______ Va., where he patented 2600 acres in 1756. Probably moved from there to N.C.: then ca. 1765 to Ga., near Augusta, where he patented land. (Colonial Records of Ga. Vol. 9, p 520, 6-6-1766. Vol. 10, p. 478, 1763. Vol. 10 p. 590, 9-17-1768.)

5. David Womack ( ca. 1747- ) son of Richard III and Ann "Nancy" (Childers) Womack was a Rev. Sol. (N.C. Rev. Army Accts., Vol. XI, p. 19, folio 2, Raleigh, N.C.) Married Mildred Pryor, daughter of the Honorable John Pryor, and wife Margaret Gaines, as proved by the will of Hon. John Pryor 28 September 1771.

6. Richard Womack IV (ca.1765-72) son of David Womack and Mildred Pryor Married 1st "Unknown", and Married 2nd Martha ________? Richard and Martha settled in St.Helena Parish, Louisiana ca. 1808, settleing on land next to his brother Col. Abner Pryor Womack. Martha Womack is found back in Mississipi by 1835 when she had land in Copiah, and Washington Counties.

9. Watson Womack, b. 28 July 1867 in Bienville Parish, La. was the son of Richard Willard Womack and Wrizopa "Rispey" Southern. Married (1) Nancy Jane Littleton, (2) Louiza Elizabeth Myers, b. 9 Feb. 1881, dtr. of William Marion Myers and Martha Ann Williams. Watson Womack died 10 January 1960 in Ringold, La. Louiza "Lular" Elizabeth Myers d. 30 September 1962.

d. 18 May 1958, both Mary Lou and Roy died in Shreveport, Louisiana.
