Townland Database

THE TOWNLAND DATABASE REFLECTS THE LOCATION OF INDVIDUALS IN 1854/1901 TIME FRAME. PARTICULAR ATTENTION SHOULD BE NOTED FOR THE (IMC) HEADING, THE INDIVIDUAL EITHER EMIGRATED MOVED OR CHANGED LOCATION, ALSO NOTE THE ACREAGE COLUMN IF IT APPEARS BOTH IN 1854 AND 1901 IT COULD SHOW A CONTINUATION OF ANCESTORS INTO THE 20TH CENTURY. THIS IS NOT A SCIENTIFIC STUDY, BUT AN ATTEMPT TO PORTRAY A MOVEMENT OF PEOPLE AND LOCATION OF (RC) CHURCHES IN COUNTY LONGFORD IN THE 19TH CENTURY.
