Gibbon, William having produced the regular License, as is directed by law, were legally married in presence of John Henderson, Guelph and Mary Fraser, Nichol, on September 26th 1838 years, by A. Gardiner, Minister

 

No. 3. Oct 16th [1837] Charles Michie, and Isabella Mackie, both in the Township of Nichol, having

The said parties John Robinson and Jane Millar were legally married in presence of Thomas Loghran, Nichol aforesaid and James Loghran, Eramosa, aforesaid – This Twenty Fifth Day of June, One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty years, by me A. Gardiner, Minr.

 

No. 30 Oct 1 [1840] Alexander Drysdale, of the township of Garafraxa, County of Waterloo,

Drysdale, Alex. District of Wellington and Prov. of U. C. Gentleman, and Janet Dingwall Fordyce of the Township of Nichol, County, District and Prov. aforesaid, Single Lady, being determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony and having for this purpose procured the necessary License as required by Law – The said parties Alexander Drysdale and Janet Dingwall Fordyce were legally married in presence of A. No 34 Dec 4 [1840] John Stephen, Bachelor, and Jane Gall, Spinster, both of the Township of

Stephen, John Nichol, County of Waterloo, District of Wellington and Province of U. C. having been publicly proclaimed by Banns in order to marriage, at three separate times within St. Andrew’s Church, Fergus, Nichol aforesaid. The said parties John Stephen and Jane Gall were legally married in presence of David Smith and William Clarke both of the Township of Nichol aforesaid. Clarke both in the Township of Nichol, County of Waterloo & District of Wellington and Province of Upper Canada, were determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony, and have for this purpose bee publicly proclaimed in three successive Sabbaths, with St. Andrew’s Church, Fergus, Nichol aforesaid.

Now these are to certify that the said parties, Alexander Clarke and Nancy Cunningham were legally married together in presence of William Green and Alexander Munro both in the Township of Nichol aforesaid, This Tenth Day of December, One thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty years, by me A. Gardiner, Minr.

 

No. 36 Dec 17 [1840] Whereas, James Gill, Bachelor, of the Township of Nichol, County of Waterloo

Gill, James and District of Wellington & Province of Upper Canada, and Christian Gerrie, Spinster, of the Township of Garafraxa, County aforesaid were determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony and have for this purpose, been publicly proclaimed on three successive Sabbaths with St. Andrew’s Church, Fergus Nichol.

Valentine, John Waterloo and District of Wellington & Province of Upper Canada and Annie Irving Carson, Single Lady, of the Township, County and District and Province aforesaid, were determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony and have for this purpose procured the necessary License as required by Law:

Now these are to certify that the said parties, John Valentine, and Annie I. Carson, were regularly married together and the same are legally contracted to each other, in presence of Al Dingwall Fordyce, Sen. And James Webster, both in the Township, County, District & Province aforesaid: This Twenty Fourth Day of December, One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty years, by me A. Gardiner, Minr.

Pourrie, Robt. Waterloo and District of Wellington and Province of Upper Canada, and Anne McPhail, Spinster, of the Township, Count, District and Province, aforesaid, were determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony, and have for this purpose been publicly proclaimed by Banns on three successive Sabbaths in St. Andrew’s Church, Fergus, and no objection offered why the said parties should e joined together in marriage:

Now these are to certify that the said parties, Robert Pourrie, and Anne McPhail were regularly married (and the same are legally contracted to each other) in presence of Charles Allan and Andrew [unreadable], both in the Township of Nichol aforesaid, this Eleventh Day of Jany., One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty One years, by me A. Waterloo, District of Wellington and Province of Upper Canada and Isabel Gerrie, Spinster, of the Township of Garafraxa, County, District and Province aforesaid, were determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony and have for this purpose been publicly proclaimed by Banns on three successive Sabbaths in St. Andrew’s Church, Fergus and no objection offered

No. 40 Jany 21[1841] Whereas, Robet Gerrie, of the Township of Nichol, County of Waterloo,

Gerrie, Robt. District of Wellington and Province of Upper Canada, Bachelor and Margaret Milne, of the Township, County, District, and Province aforesaid, Spinster, were determined to enter into the Holy Banns of Matrimony, and have for this purpose been publicly proclaimed by Banns, on three successive Sabbaths in St. Andrew’s Church, Fergus and no objection offered why the said parties should be joined together in marriage:

Now these are to certify that the said parties, viz, Rogert Terrie and Margaret Milne, were regularly married and the same are legally contracted to each other, in presence of Rogert Cromar, Bachelor, Woolwich, & William Gerrie, Nichol, both of the County, District and Province aforesaid. Now these are to certify that the said parties, viz, John Alpaugh and Eleanor McKee, were regularly married and the same are legally contracted to each other, in presence of John B. Awrey, Bachelor, Erin and John Felker, Bachelor, Garafraxa, both of the County, District and Province aforesaid, This Twenty Eight Day of January, In the year of our Lord One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty One, by me A. Now, these are to certify that the said parties, viz.
