Clarke County, KY - 1814 This Indenture made this twelfth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and fourteen between John Frame of the County of Lincoln and State of Tennessee and William McMillan and Elizabeth his wife of the County of Clarke and State of Kentucky of the one part, and George G. Taylor of the County of Clark and William N. Love of the County of Fayette and all of the State of Kentucky of the of the other said Witnesseth that the said John Frame and William McMullan & Elizabeth his wife for an in consideration of the sum of twenty pounds to them in hand paid by the said Taylor & William N. Love at or before the executing of the Indenture the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by their presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Taylor & Wm N. Love and their heirs and assigns forever a certain lott or carve of ground in the town of Winchester, Clarke County & State of Kentucky which is one third of a lot known and designated on the plot of said town by number twenty one adjoining lott number twenty. Beginning at a stake on the public ground which divides the said lot from lot number twenty running thence north 18 east along the public ground, the Course of main street Ninety three feet in front to a stake, thence north seventy two West, two hundred and eight feet to a stake on the edge of water. to a stake on the same no twenty from twenty one, thence South seventy two degrees east two hundred & eight feet to the beginning. To have and to hold the said lot or Carve of ground which was purchased by the said Frame of Isaac Nichols who purchased of the Trustees of said town unto the Gd Taylor and William N. Love and their heirs forever. And the said Frame & William McMillian and Elizabeth his wife for themselves and their heirs the said lot or Carve of ground hereby Conveyed or intended to be.
