fter James and Connie were married they lived in Farmersville. In 1908 the family bought a farm in Hunt County two miles south of Quinlan. Janes died 11 Mar 1926.

Connie lived on the farm for several years. About 1937 she started living with her children. Eventually she lived with her daughter Josie in Tyler. After Josie died in 1957 she moved to Greenville and lived with her daughter Lizzie until her death 20 Jan 1959. James and Connie are buried in the IOOF Cemetery, Quinlan, TX.
