5. Robert² Chaffin (Robert¹) was born in Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA 20 Dec 1724.⁽³²⁰⁾ Robert died 13 Mar 1775 in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 50.⁽³²¹⁾

He married Hannah Powers 1748 probably in Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁽³²²⁾ Hannah was born 6 Jan 1730/1731. Hannah was the daughter of Joseph Powers and Hannah Whitcomb.

Robert Chaffin and Hannah Powers had the following children:

16 i. Hannah³ Chaffin⁽³²³⁾ was born in Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA 28 Mar 1750. She married Aaron Blodgett abt 1770.⁽³²⁴⁾ (See Aaron Blodgett for the continuation of this line.)

17 ii. Robert Chaffin⁽³²⁵⁾ was born in Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA 8 Jul 1752. Robert died 7 Sep 1828 in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 76.

18 iii. Joseph Chaffin was born 30 Sep 1753. Joseph died 25 Jun 1836 at age 82.

19 iv. Elias Chaffin was born 30 Dec 1754. Elias died 22 Feb 1832 at age 77.

20 v. Susanna Chaffin⁽³²⁶⁾ was born in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA 19 Feb 1757. Susanna died 21 Jun 1851 at age 94. She married Ezekiel Davis 25 Feb 1779 in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁽³²⁷⁾ Ezekiel was born 1752. Ezekiel died 1820 at age 68.

21 vi. Ephraim Chaffin was born 24 Sep 1760.

22 vii. Lucy Chaffin⁽³²⁸⁾ was born in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA 18 Apr 1762. She married Elnathan Davis 22 Jun 1784 in Harvard, MA.⁽³²⁹⁾ Elnathan was born about 1760.

+ 23 viii. Simon Chaffin was born 27 Sep 1764.

24 ix. Peter Chaffin was born about 1766. Peter died after 1818 at age unknown.

25 x. Gladwin Chaffin was born 20 Nov 1768. Gladwin died 10 Feb 1813 at age 44.

26 xi. Betty Chaffin was born 14 Nov 1771. Betty died before May 1776 at age unknown.

27 xii. Sybil Chaffin⁽³³⁰⁾ was born in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA 14 Nov 1771. Sybil died after 12 Jun 1805 at age 33. She married James Ross 23 Aug 1795 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.⁽³³¹⁾ (See James Ross for the continuation of this line.)
