1. Glenn¹ Hamma⁽¹¹⁰⁶⁾ was born in Harvey Co., KS 4 Sep 1891.⁽¹¹⁰⁷⁾ Glenn died 23 Jan 1982 in Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS, at age 90.⁽¹¹⁰⁸⁾

He married Lurissa Myers Chaffin Aft Feb 1919 in Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.⁽¹¹⁰⁹⁾ Lurissa was born 18 Feb 1896 in Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.⁽¹¹¹⁰⁾ Lurissa was the daughter of Gladwin Boone Chaffin and Caroline Myers. Lurissa died 22 Nov 1978 in Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS, at age 82.⁽¹¹¹¹⁾

Glenn Hamma and Lurissa Myers Chaffin had the following children:

2 i. Hildegarde (Dee)² Hamma was born 14 Dec 1923.⁽¹¹¹²⁾ Hildegarde died 21 Feb 1995 in Grand Rapids, MI, at age 71.

Hildegarde Hamma and Bob Babson, a native of Massachusetts, met at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Bob was a credit manager for Graybar Electric, Ohio Plate Brass and Grand Rapids Gypsum before retiring from the gypsum company in 1981. He plays golf and fishes all summer and bowls and ice fishes all winter. Dee finished college in 1956 at Wayne State in Detroit. That summer, they went to Grand Rapids, Michigan and liked it so well, they made it their home. Dee worked for a transformer manufacturer in Grand Rapids from 1960 to 1988, where she started out as a draftsman and worked up to designer. She had taken aeronautical engineering in college and worked in the electrical and hydraulic department at Curtiss Wright in Columbus, Ohio during World War II and then at the power and light company in Hutchinson until her marriage. She retired in 1988 and enjoys travel, gardening, nature, church work, the theater, and local cultural events.
